Angelos Angelou To Be Inducted into Austin Tech Hall of Fame by Austin Technology Council

Austin, TX — Angelos Angelou, CEO of Angelou Economics and the International Accelerator, and Managing Partner of IA Global Ventures, will be officially inducted into the Austin Tech Hall of Fame. This recognition honors his decades of visionary leadership and his pivotal role in shaping Austin’s transformation into a global innovation and technology hub.

The 2025 Hall of Fame Celebration will be held on Wednesday, May 7, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Indeed Tower in downtown Austin. The event will convene an influential group of founders, investors, and changemakers who have built—and continue to shape—Austin’s dynamic tech ecosystem.

This year’s distinguished cohort includes Joshua Baer, Robert Fabbio, Joe Liemandt, Pike Powers, Carol Thompson, John Thornton, and Ellen Wood, with Angelos Angelou joining their ranks as a 2025 inductee.
